2BV Series Water Ring Vacuum Pump / Unit
The 2BV series vacuum pumps are suitable for pumping gas and water vapor, and can achieve an intake pressure of 33 mbar absolute (97% vacuum).When the vacuum pump operates for a long period with an intake pressure below 80 mbar, a cavitation protection pipe shall be connected to protect the pump.When equipped with an atmospheric ejector (see attached table), the intake pressure can reach 10 mbar, and the ejector can be directly mounted on the vacuum pump.When used as a compressor, its maximum pressure is 0.26 mbar absolute.Water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, sugar manufacturing and other industries.Since the gas compression process is isothermal during operation, there is little risk when compressing and pumping flammable and explosive gases, making their application even more extensive.
The main structural features of the 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors manufactured by our company are as follows:
■ Direct motor coupling design for easy installation and convenient maintenance.
■ Mechanical seals are adopted as the standard configuration for all models.
■ Wear and corrosion resistance. The entire 2BV series is standardly equipped with stainless steel impellers; the 2BV2 series is fully fitted with stainless steel discs and impellers. Featuring high strength and long service life, these components greatly enhance the pump’s corrosion resistance.
■ Anti-cavitation performance and low maintenance requirements. The optimized fluid structure is designed with a cavitation protection pipe interface, which eliminates cavitation noise while maximizing suction performance and protecting the pump. The unique flexible exhaust port design avoids over-compression, ensuring optimal operating efficiency of the 2BV series within its performance range.
■ High-efficiency and energy-saving motors are fully adopted, with protection grades of IP54/IP55 and Class F insulation.
■ Imported bearings of SKF or NSK brands are equipped on all units.
■ For the 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pumps, all flexible seals can be customized with PTFE material, significantly extending the service life of the vacuum pump under harsh working conditions.
■ Special material options are available based on medium corrosion characteristics, including 304 and 316L stainless steel. Diversified sealing solutions such as packing seal and mechanical seal can be provided to meet customer requirements.
■ Explosion-proof motors are optional for flammable and explosive gas applications, with an explosion-proof grade of dIIBT4 and motor protection grade IP55.
■ Imported mechanical seals are applied, with sealing elements available in fluororubber or PTFE.
■ The coaxial design of motor and pump for the 2BV series vacuum pumps makes them highly suitable for wide applications, including vacuum filtration, vacuum distillation, vacuum sterilization, vacuum extrusion/molding, vacuum impregnation, water pump priming, vacuum packaging, solvent recovery, food processing and other industries.

Note:
The performance parameters in the table are measured under the conditions: suction medium is saturated air at 20℃, operating temperature 15℃, and discharge pressure 1013 mbar. The permissible performance tolerance is ±10%.
The working liquid flow rate specified in the table refers to the required flow rate when equipped with a gas-water separator and with partial working liquid recycled. If the working liquid is operated in a non-recycling mode, the actual required flow rate shall be approximately twice the listed value.
